ABOUT THE CARTWHEEL DYE:
The fabric is hand-dyed by the artist in Bali. The swirls are dyed by hand with a sponge and sprinkled with ice cubes and baking soda.
In this way, the dye slowly migrates into the fabric. After two hours, the carousel pattern is finished.

All our dyes are made by hand in our dye studio in Bali. Here we work with local artisans who have been passing on the art and expertise of traditional dyeing techniques for generations. In this way, each product is unique with distinctive, one-of-a-kind patterns. This is the beauty of things made by hand and with the heart.
