Underside made of canvas making the picnic blanket waterproof to protect you from the wet ground. The beautiful picnic blanket has handmade cotton tassels on each corner and comes with a woven carrying strap so you can take you on any adventure. This beautiful Golden Folk picnic blanket is also perfect as a camping rug or beach blanket.

STORY OF WANDERING FOLK:
We're the wanderers who love to escape city life every chance we get, and we're all about camping adventures, good friends and good food. Put it all together and that's pretty much the birth of Wandering Folk. Oh, and let's not forget our trusty old van, a 1969 Commer Camper AKA Bronson, which occasionally becomes our home.
Our picnic blankets were developed out of necessity as we sat on our cloths on a rainy camping trip trying to keep off the damp ground. We wanted to create something that was high quality, would last a lifetime, and was also aesthetically pleasing. Everyone has an old rug in their car or closet that gets dusted off in the summer for beach nights or picnics with friends. Why not have something to be proud of at a picnic that is also very practical? Our rugs are more of a magic carpet than a picnic rug. We still use our rugs every day and have traveled the world with them. All of our products are hand drawn and designed in our Byron Bay studio by our founder Sharnee Thorpe.
